Apr\u00e8s le succ\u00e8s de la version 2012, Shimano sort en 2018 une nouvelle version du Cardiff avec des changements d\u2019ampleur.<\/p>\n

La version C2000HGS laisse \u00e7a place \u00e0 une version 1000 SHG et la gamme s\u2019enrichie d\u2019une version C3000 pr\u00e9vue pour les plus grosses truites. Parmi les nouveaut\u00e9s on retrouve le Gfree body qui rapproche le centre de gravit\u00e9 du porte moulinet ainsi qu\u2019une meilleure protection \u00e0 la corrosion gr\u00e2ce au Xprotect (C3000) et Core Protect (version 1000).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les Cardiff sont des moulinets sp\u00e9cialement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s pour la truite, le frein a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour ces p\u00eaches de precision avec un ajustement plus pr\u00e9cis. Le nouveau rotor asym\u00e9trique permet d\u2019avoir des bras plus rigides notamment au niveau du galet ce qui contribue aux bonnes performances du frein lors des combats. Conscient que la truite ce p\u00eache dans un environnement bruyant (chute d\u2019eau, torrent\u2026) Shimano Japon a \u00e9galement revu le cliquet pour \u00eatre audible dans ces conditions. Le pickup en titane, le b\u00e2ti CI4+, le X-Ship, la bobine AR-C ainsi que les roulements S-ARB viennent compl\u00e9t\u00e9 la liste des technologies Shimano embarqu\u00e9 dans les nouveaux Cardiff 18\u2019.<\/p>\n
