To remove it, simply remove the metal clip holding it in place. You can remove one or both \u2013 it\u2019s up to you.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Apply a drop of oil <a title=\"LBT High-Speed Oil-Sealed Bearing\" href=\"http:\/\/roulementcasting.com\/en\/boutique\/lbt-high-speed-oil-boca\/?lang=en\">LBT High-speed oil<\/a> on the bearing. It\u2019s then up to you whether or not to replace the seal. Fitting it protects the bearing from dirt but must be removed every time you want to oil the bearing, whereas not refitting it makes maintenance easier but leaves the mechanism more exposed.
